Aquila Hotels & Resorts Group has decided to integrate another environmental practice into its corporate social responsibility actions, by replacing plastic straws with biodegradable ones.

Researchers consider that at least eight tons of plastic waste ends up each year in the oceans threatening to destroy the marine eco-system.

The company commits itself by taking concrete actions in order to positively contribute towards the protection and conservation of the environment as well as the cultural heritage by adopting an integrated policy regarding all the environmental issues.
